| The Texas Roadrunners Band started in 1999 when Daryl Cloud, Triva Black (Fred) on bass and Rita Killen on piano got together to play a gig at the V.F.W. Hall in Conroe. Soon after that, Ray Armstrong (on drums), Ben Ellisor (on lead guitar) and John Musachia (on fiddle), came on board. Later on, John Goodman joined the band playing lead guitar along with Jimmy Johnson On bass. The sound was as true as traditional country could get. Everything from Merle Haggard and Bob Wills, to George Strait. Two steps, waltzes and good old belt polishing dance music. |
